You do realise the majority of people with power in this world actually aren't "woke" or into "social justice"? This is precisely why there are these "woke" "SJW" movements. To try give more say to the people without power.
I'm going to assume you're one of those people who's annoyed about people being "cancelled". When the reality is, no one is being 'cancelled', people are being made to take responsibility for their actions.
But sure, the "woke" "SJW" crowd are going to change fanfiction world in particular for the worst.

"cancelled" is not a useful word to use but there are many instance where mass social-justice-oriented groups on social media do shitty things with bad effects

So you think doxxing, brigading and death threats are "making people take responsibility for their actions?" I have news for you. That might get people who disagree with you to be quiet, but it won't get them to rethink things or get them to actually change their minds. It just makes the polarization worse and adds to an already bad problem.

There are many, many instances where online groups that claim to be fighting for social justice have done deeply shitty things with long reaching effects for the worse, over very petty things, and then hidden behind the excuse that it was for a good cause, so that made their doxxing and call-outs and dogpiling OK. They rarely go after the people who actually have power. They just attack people who mostly agree with them and rip them to pieces for minor infractions. And the punishment almost always way exceeds the crime.

And they already have changed the fanfiction world for the worse. There's a lot less variety now than there used to be ten years ago or even five. Many, many people have already bailed from fandom over concerns about being doxxed or that some self-rightous asshole will go running to their employer pitching lies about them over what they ship.

They already have changed fandom for the worse, SO MUCH. Amazingly, doxxing and death threats and gore-spamming and endless repeating of "KYS" will drive some talented writers and artists out of fandom completely, and that's a net loss to everyone who might have enjoyed their work.

The chilling effect shuts down a lot of adventure and innovation, and the fear that The Claw will grab you next just makes everything a lot less fun.

Anyone who still believes that antis actually believe the social-justice rhetoric they're using to excuse hurling abuse at people (for the sole REAL reason that it's fun for them to hurl abuse and get praised for it) is just too naive to be on social media.
