I think you should give it a try! It's my favorite Disney movie of the past 10 years easily. Can I ask why you don't want to?

I think obstinate contrarianism at this point. I dunno, I've just been feeling cranky lately, like everything is getting on one of my nerves, and for whatever reason this movie has been the thing that has got on the very last nerve I had left for no real good cause, and something in my brain has just said screw it and dumped all the crankiness and irritation I've been feeling over everything else onto its head. I know that doesn't really make sense, just that is how I feel though.

Fair enough! I suppose it might also be oversaturating certain fandom spaces right now, I’m just not active enough in fandom generally to see that. And even if it did, it wouldn’t annoy me since clearly I like the movie…

Depends on you. You might like it. Apart from being fun I think you can feel there is a lot of love that went into it. It doesn’t shy away from the real life tragedy of “los desplazados” in Colombia either which I found very moving.

This is the reason i never did, and have never, watched 'Titanic' - it was EVERYWHERE, that fucking SONG was everywhere, I was *so very tired* of it all, so I just refused.

That song always reminded me of the time the principal of my school thought it would be a nice and fun idea to have a karaoke machine set up for the school dance. By the end of the night nearly everyone (like at least 10 kids and possibly more - 8 year old me included lol) sang that song over and over again - with the exception of one girl singing Runaway by The Corrs, who got the loudest applause in response.

Needless to say the karaoke machine was never seen again.

The plot doesn't sound particularly interesting to me. And I've listened to a couple of the songs online and not only disliked the sound of them but they seem more like dialogue lines but sung, which is not something I like very much.
