Got it, then they definitely just didn’t include it everywhere.

That makes sense. And I don’t know why it didn’t get what you meant here sooner, considering I agreed with a different anon who said that a problem with some of the soundtrack is that the lyrics go by too fast, and it’s sometimes hard to make out what they’re saying. I think you were clear in what you meant, I’m just slow today lol.

I do get that concern. As much as I love his music, and his work in general, I would never want him to be burnt out trying to please some executives who just want new Hamiltons. That’s not good for creativity.

I do know In the Heights was made before Hamilton, and thus wouldn’t be influenced by sounding like Hamilton. I just included it because I love that play so much(the movie adaptation was okay too). And I agree that Moana was some of his best! And did a better job at having catchy songs with understandable lyrics that kids could actually sing along to, unlike some songs from Encanto. I love The Family Madrigal a lot, but it’s not going to be easy for every adult to sing or immediately understand all the words, much less a kid!

And I actually really love Shiny, even though it’s definitely the weak link in the Moana soundtrack. Most of my love is because Jemaine Clement is the one singing, because I’m a big fan of Flight of the Conchords lol.
