Re: Most hated headcanons

In the SGA fandom, there was a headcanon doing the rounds that the lead military guy was never actually in combat but something much less ttroubling like a peacekeeper. There was no Canon basis for it, it all stemmed from fangirls who couldn't stomach the idea that one of their OTP had potentially killed people. Even though he kills plenty in the show.

It was pathetic, frankly. McShep was very prone to the almost chibification of the characters.
