Are you eating alot of salty foods? I know my fingers get stiff if I intake more then usual (I personally notice it after eating seafood).

I don't think I'm eating more salt in general, though I am eating more bacon specifically, which I assume is quite salty. I'll have to keep an eye on whether there's a correlation.
