Especially since so many showrunners are still too in love with the idea that ending on a cliffhanger is supposed to guarantee renewal, which has never been true and is increasingly less and less so. Just tell a complete story, preferably one per episode. The season ending cliffhanger is one of Star Trek:TNG's less endearing contributions to pop culture.

Looking at you, Julie and the Phantoms. My heart broke. First show I was ever actually mad it didn't get a season 2. Wishing all the actors luck though!

I'm a terrible TV watcher because I do this too. I also give up on a show by the 2nd or 3rd season (usually the story/characters have lost my interest for being boring or bad). There aren't a lot of shows I can watch from beginning to end so sometimes I actually don't mind discovering a show that only lasted for one or two seasons years after the show had been canceled. But then I get mad that that show was unfairly canceled with only one or two seasons lol

I've seen a lot of people say things like that, and I've never understood that attitude, because by not watching, that's just further ensuring the show's less likely to get another season. Either way, your chances of enjoying the show longer seem slim. I get it sucks to get into a show only for it to be cancelled after a season, but I'd personally still rather watch and enjoy what's there, rather than not give something that seemed interesting to me a chance at all.

I wish I could do this, but I've never been able to. I'll just keep watching shows and continue being disappointed when they end on cliffhangers and get cancelled.

I thought I had completely moved on from this fandom, considering how different my tastes are now. But after watching a Security Breach gameplay I was hit by the nostalgia of watching the previous games and the theories I used to be part of as well as the multiple fan interpretations of the story/characters.

I'm not interested in interacting with the new canon content or much of the fandom but am having a blast listening to old fan songs and reminiscing about my own character interpretations (and how I would fix them).

S!B: I didn't think I missed it so much, considering the fandom I'm talking about. I'm a little embarrassed.

Extra: Springtrap is still my favorite design-wise.
