I would guess it's probably just standard changes. I'm close to 40 now and a few years back my period started getting distinctly lighter and shorter (now it's only heavy for two days instead of four), but it's stayed that way for a few years now so I think that's just how it is these days. I wish it could have done this a lot sooner, it would've made my life so much better! I love not having to worry about bringing almost a week's worth of supplies with me if I go on a trip around the time my period is likely to start. I can take a few tampons and a handful of pantiliners and that's all I need now.
