Oh oh we have a challenger! I just looked at my Facebook feed and basically made this face because there was a new post at the top from the trainwreck I've mentioned a couple times whose new thing is "Never date or marry poor. Always marry or date rich. Never associate with poor people."

The first part I was reading and rolling my eyes, then I got to the last line and...

What do you do if you were born into a poor family?
What do you do if you were born into a poor country? 🇨🇳
What do you do if all your friends were bad influences?
We cannot chose which family we were born into, or who our parents were.
If you are poor, you gotta play the hands you were dealt with.
That's why Asians work so hard.

Hah, yeah. I don't THINK he is for various reasons - I met him because he took my picture at some con years ago, and back then he seemed normal. But he's a pro photographer and all his photos are pictures he took rather than pictures of himself, so darned if I know which guy that was at that con.

But one thing is, when the pandemic started and there was a lot of gross anti-Asian sentiment going around, he made one of his "sage advice" posts saying that in order to end the racism, Chinese people should give everyone free food as a gesture of good will. And er, I can't see an Asian person saying that.

Hahah. When I realized I was actually making a "wtf?" face at the screen, I suddenly thought "...I've seen this expression in a meme before" and went looking. Not sure I'd actually seen that one before, but it was accurate.
