Solution: word has this fancy feature known as search-replace you can use to edit fairly quickly. I do this for fics which are otherwise stellar but insist on using foreign-language terms incorrectly. If it will completely throw me out of the story, I'm not above reading by editing first.

I don't dislike a single character in 00, and that pairing is actually one of my favorites. It's easier to just like what you like.

I like the comic specifically because of the soapboxing, it amuses me. With the side of irony that a lot of the fans seem to be exactly the thing being complained about in the comics in the first place generally improves the effect.
