Surprised Nick Clegg hasn't gotten any fangirls - he always looked like a nicer-looking version of Cameron to me.

A month or two back, I posted a secret saying I shipped Mandelson/Brown. Which I still do. The history of their love/hate relationship made it pretty inevitable but then, there were NO British Politics secrets and now...there are loads. Mostly Tories though so I'm not too interested. *sigh*

They're all by David Cameron, posting as a teenaged girl.

He's down with the kids, you know! He's street! He's, like, totally phat and bangin'. Vote Tory! We're not a Boy's Club of bigoted old Etonians. We're well fit, isn't it, and we're totally going to make Britain great again by blaming everything on easy scapegoats like immigrants and single mothers. Huzzah!

Emily Davison is now spinning so fast in her grave she's drilled through to the fucking mantel! Frankly I was horrified when the Sun ran that 'hey girls! Vote for Blair 'cause his abs are ripped!!!' story in the last election. But maybe that's because the man's a warmongering psychopath.

Plus... Tory Frontbenchers hot? How? Who? WHAT? They all look like they're covered in a thin layer of slime... like they'd be doughy and sticky to the touch, much like an iced bun. Just because Gordon Brown looks like a sack of potatoes - you could stand the Elephant Man next to him and he'd still seem the less attractive of the two.

HA agreed, plus awesome metaphor. I don't see it at all myself, but it seems to be the running consensus on LJ at least. I guess yes, next to Brown they are much more attractive, but funnily enough, still not enough to convince me that that is a good reason to vote for them.

I am afraid it is some hideous grassroots spindoctoring campaign by the Tories, and soon Fandom!Secrets will become the subject of an article in the Sun. Which would suck hard.
