Life is a game in which we make up our own rules. It doesn't matter too much if there is a God, isn't a God, or was a God previously but isn't anymore. What is important is that you draw up your own instruction book and then live by it. Think about it this way: is it better to do stuff while alive, or be dead and do nothing?

Best of luck finding those tickets to see the band. Hopefully they'll give you the inspiration you need to keep going, if something else doesn't do it first.

Ophiuchus has always been part of the zodiacal equator, even back when the first star-maps were drawn in Babylon and Egypt. However, it sticks out of the band, and twelves are a lot easier to deal with than thirteens. Ophiuchus is usually seen as the opposite number from Orion, who just barely misses being in the zodiacal band and is almost exactly six months removed.

The other question would be whether the OP accounts for the precession of the equinoxes or not. Most astrologers don't, the theory being that the signs aren't actually connected to the constellations - they're just named after the constellations that were closest to the houses when the system was developed.

Yep. Me too. It's actually in character for one of the characters I love to write fic about to deck (or glare down, more likely) other characters if they called him by his first name. Also, it sometimes could lead to real trouble for the characters if they call each other by their first name in the wrong place (think Gosford Park), and therefore a few characters will refer to each other solely by last names to avoid the automatic reaction of first name instead of last names.

I mean, obviously I want the movie to fit in with Star Trek in general (though, if it doesn't, I'm content to call it "Alternate Universe Star Trek" and be happy with that), but I totally want some snarky awesome slashiness between Spock and McCoy. And lots of Chekov scenes, but that's just 'cause I love Anton Yelchin...
