I took my parents to see Watchmen because I knew that my dad would love it. My mum, though, is quite squeamish but insisted on coming. I helped by letting her know when there would be a violent bit that she wouldn't like so she could avert her eyes. Perhaps you can go with a friend that will do the same?

113. - I know where you're coming from. Sapphire was my favorite game and it made me cringe to take my Blazikin away from it. But I feel that in doing so, I've kept him closer to me. Now I can play with him on my DS and Wii.

What's so bad about giving someone a pageview? I figure the artist probably worked hard on the artwork and only a relatively small percentage of people that look are going to comment; a fair number of pageviews lets them know that they're not just putting their work out into a void where it goes unseen.

Yeah, that's a little "ew" to me as well. I don't blame you, OP. I think everything about the relationship between those two characters is absolutely revolting/cringe-inducing. He beats her up and tries to rape her and then, afterward, she decides that's just fine and dandy and sleeps with him regardless. Maybe his beating the shit out of her was just how he shows he cares, right? I can barely even count the number of ways in which this is really, really gross and disturbing. I'm not implying that your friends' relationship is like that; just ranting about the characters' relationship, which squicked/offended me.
