Yeah, that's a little "ew" to me as well. I don't blame you, OP. I think everything about the relationship between those two characters is absolutely revolting/cringe-inducing. He beats her up and tries to rape her and then, afterward, she decides that's just fine and dandy and sleeps with him regardless. Maybe his beating the shit out of her was just how he shows he cares, right? I can barely even count the number of ways in which this is really, really gross and disturbing. I'm not implying that your friends' relationship is like that; just ranting about the characters' relationship, which squicked/offended me.

I know the relationship is not necessarily...like I know people who have done that. But on a deeper level it really DOES worry me, because the GF has had issue with abusive boyfriends before, and...*shudder*

This. I just find it really fucked up how they handled Sally's character. Falls in love with her rapist? Really now? How many times have we seen this in media? UGH.
