I understand what you're saying there. The Beatles' voices sound like they're on way too many uppers not to grate on my nerves or even for the message they're conveying: there is no difference between the sound of "I wanna hold your hand" and their later stuff! Shouldn't there be if the difference in messages is that great?

You know, I'm a bit annoyed by some of the responses this secret has had. So the OP doesn't like how the various Beatles' voices sound, big deal, it doesn't mean he/she "fails at music", people have different tastes. I for one can't stand Jim Morrison's voice but I enjoy the various cover versions of Doors songs I've heard.

I've never got the big to-do around the Beatles. Don't get me wrong, I like most of what I've heard of them, but I hate the attitude that a lot of people have that seems to say "If you don't like the Beatles and don't think they were the best thing evar then you're not a proper music fan". Then again a large number of "music fans" annoy me anyway (the moment a band becomes popular they've clearly sold out and their new stuff is by definition shit? If you weren't a fan of a group back when they released their first album, when you were 10 years old and they were only doing gigs in their own country which is on the other side of an ocean then you're not a proper fan? STFU)

I would think the second group of music fans you're complaining about seldom overlap with the first group you're complaining about. Although it'd be pretty hilarious to hear someone ranting about how the Beatles' Hamburg stuff with Stu and Pete was the best and how Sgt. Pepper's was all drug-addled Mad Libs drivel.

It never even occurred to me to transfer any of my teams to Diamond. I just pulled out the GBA games and caught new Pokemon solely for the purpose of transferring them. Anything I couldn't catch that was one of my main Pokemon I just bred with a Ditto and hatched a nice baby to transfer over. I couldn't ever take my teams away from their original games, they belong there, with their respective trainers (I always buy each version of the game and give all my characters different names because it's fun).

And actually, even the rare Pokemon who weren't on my team I only transferred off the game I cared least about. Usually I buy one copy of the game when it comes out, buy the second version later, and then when the third version comes out I get that, and the second game tends to become the red-headed stepchild of my Pokemon games. Like, I bought Ruby first and then Sapphire and then Emerald, and I love Ruby and Emerald best so poor Sapphire gave up all its rare unbreedable Pokemon to Diamond. Meanwhile, I haven't transferred anything to Pearl and will probably give all my new love to Platinum when it comes out. What can I say, I'm fickle.

I did the same thing.
I think that's why I like the game so much is that a lot of the character's history was left up for the player to decide and that's why I like it so much.

And also the fact that they weren't all emo/wangsty and were just regular people was a big factor in my liking it.

124. I agree, sort of, at least at first. I think it really shows that JtHM was an amateur work created by a young inexperienced artist. Both the writing and the artwork are extremely unpolished. I think Vasquez consistently improved as an artist, though, and did a much better of job as the comic went on of showing what a hypocritical, pathetic, slimy little jerk Nny is...much worse than the people he hates. Not enough that it washes the bad taste out, but I think Vasquez is aware of the comic's (and Nny's) problems.
