I'm glad I don't pay that much attention to LJ fandom, then, because I have a massive crush on practically all of the female characters in 00. XD

I have no problem with Marina, but it irritates me that's she's probably going to save the world with her song of peace and lurve, or something lame like that.

the reason we're reacting pretty badly though is because they kinda are. Cosplaying them=/=conding rape, but their attitude about it is very "What, they are a fine and perfect couple, they had a kid and things got better, see? That part wasn't that important."

Which is what's bugging us. Like I said, if they were just like "We like the costumes, let's do it." no one would care that much.
