Am I the only one that doesn't really have a problem with that? :\

I mean the guy thinking the Comedian is ZOMG TEH AWESOME is kinda stupid, but who fucking cares if they cosplay them? It's not like they're condoning rape, jesus. It's just cosplay. Lots of people dress up as them.

the reason we're reacting pretty badly though is because they kinda are. Cosplaying them=/=conding rape, but their attitude about it is very "What, they are a fine and perfect couple, they had a kid and things got better, see? That part wasn't that important."

Which is what's bugging us. Like I said, if they were just like "We like the costumes, let's do it." no one would care that much.

Yeah, that's kinda. Uh. Wow.

Yeah, I don't see the big deal. I've seen TONS of people going as The Comedian and Silk Spectre I, and going TOGETHER as a couple. And if you read the comic, it almost makes sense, because Sally forgives him, and kisses his picture and cries over him, so she obviously had some feelings for him. (I'm not saying I like The Comedian or anything, but in the big scheme of things, as long as he doesn't actually try to rape his girlfriend or anything, I don't see the big deal)
