150- I do like Marina in some ways, and she is an extremely important character because of her different take of saving the world (the world does need music). I just wish sunrise would do a better job portraying her that way (especially this season) because, whenever she is on screen, she is doing, well, nothing :|.
Well she did write a song that managed to reach out to the world...but sunrise played it way to many times DX

I agree with the overplaying thing. Gundam seems to do that though, i.e. Shizuka na Yoru ni in Gundam Seed, at least at the beginning.

*nodnod* Unfortunately most of the fandom is like "ZOMG YOU DO NOTHING DIE~~~!" about her. Dx

Really? I haven't got a chance to finish seed (still on the second episode XD;). But you'd think it be a little different because of the director...:\

Yup, the bashing thing does annoy me DX. At times I do see their point, but other times it's just so irrational...I mean if she dies what will happen to setsuna? ;~; (Frankly, I really can't see marina and setsuna in a romantic relationship, but ep. 15 in s2 touched me :3...setsuna relies on her for a lot of things.)
As I said earlier, I blame sunrise. Her strong personality doesn't shine through enough, and I can see her doing much more.

Watch iiit~~~ *makes hypnotic arm movements*

You'll see some startling parallels with Marina and Lacus. At least I did. o3o

*nods* I definitely think that they have a wonderful, though purely platonic, relationship at this point. But I also think that if given time it'll get to be something more. At least I hope that from the bottom of my wee fangirly heart.
