That's why I go for romances where there's instant chemistry and the main couple get to fucking/naughty touching and kissing early on. Shit gets in the way, even temporary love interests, but our main couple still come together again in the end. And it's nice because you already know the makeup sex is going to be hotter than the first time around.

I do like stories where there is a lot of chemistry and the couple doesn't get together in the end but the setup has be done perfectly with the right chemistry (IE. the classic Elizabeth and Darcy). And I can only deal with this setup so many times where I find it boring, so I prefer a mixup of when the main couple gets together. A lot of the fun for me is seeing the couple do couple things together, fight through couple fights, and I don't want to read a whole novel to get a slice of that and then maybe a sequel. I want a whole novel of fluff, drama, and smut!
