I get that. Namor has been cast in the MCU. On the one hand: Yay! My man will get a higher profile! On the other hand: Boo! Every MCU version of Marvel characters has been inferior and it will permanently effect the fanfiction/fan art ecosystem.

Like yes, I've been wanting this for a while but now that it's happening I kind of wish it wasn't. And I'm aware this is the last thing I should be worrying about for Black Panther two, but Shuri's actress being anti-vax isn't the fun kind of fandom drama.
