as a cosplayer myself, I've never had that kind of attention, but I have some friends who have had.. like.. stalkers and stuff cause of their cosplay. It makes one feel very vulnerable.. D:

(Although one time I did have this girl who followed me all around this con and called me the name of who I was cosplaying and made me give her my autograph and kept rubbing up against me. XD; I took it in-character, though, which just made her worse. I wanted to be like 'yeah, i'm cosplaying a gay guy, plz to be getting off' but I prefer to act IC when cosplaying.. so.. yeah. D: ENDS UP BEING RLY CREEPY)

I've had my share of creepy fanperson at cons and quite a few 'net stalkers. It's weird. Don't they realize that we're people and not our characters. Of course, a 'friend' had spread a rumour a while back about how I thought I was Rufus Shinra and when it finally got back to me it just confused the hell out of me.

I think I would be massively weird out if people associated characters so much with me. Poor Dani. Granted, she'd probably laugh a lot but still. Creepy. x_x
