Re: What’s your inner monologue doing?

I know telling people what to do with their bodies is annoying, so I'm sorry for what I'm about to say, but please don't postpone doing fun stuff until you've lost weight. I know so many people (self included sometimes) who put fun, achievable things off until some future time when they've "earned" them by being an idealized version of themselves.

Motivating yourself to make needed change is one thing, putting off all the good stuff until you become your ideal self is a road to misery.

Oh, I know I won't ever be my ideal. This is about motivating myself. I have different things to reward myself with for reaching different goals. I have lost some weight but I also put some back on. So with the tattoos, I'm telling myself that if I can lose some and keep it off for a while, then we'll reward ourselves with a tattoo or two that won't be ruined hopefully by me regaining the weight.
