Eh. I write imagines because I have ideas and I really want to put them out in the world but I really can’t write the epic doorstoppers I’d kill to read.

If this isn't my fandom existence in a nutshell, I don't know what is.

FWIW, as a reader I find good imagines really enjoyable! Particularly if I'm in a fandom where there isn't a ton of fanfic that I vibe with, a good imagine can be a real pleasure unto itself. I'm not saying I prefer it to a fic; I'd definitely prefer a whole-ass fic. But I've read some imagines that are really delightful, and I'm more than happy to reblog them, and moan about how delicious the idea is.
