it's my birthday and i'm lying in bed with shoulder pain at 3am trying to fall asleep. i stopped talking to my family last year and i have no irl friends so no presents and i'm flat broke so i can't even buy myself something nice. i have been single for 8 years and unemployed for about the same amount of time (depression bla), literally nothing going on except the d&d games with my online friends that give me bad social anxiety.
to top it off i'm out of antidepressants until i see my psychiatrist on monday and when i tried to see my general practitioner for a prescription the bitchy receptionist just turned me away because they "never write prescriptions like that". also i have an appointment with the jobcenter today, with a new file manager. not excited about that.

it's days like these that i wonder what i'm trying so hard for

Happy birthday. And sympathies, for me it is my hip that just won't quit. Nothing touches it except heavy opiates, and doctors refuse to prescribe those anymore thanks to the latest moral panic sweeping the land.
