I want to say rest, after this last week full of illness, bunny acquisition, bunny illness, car trouble, enough snow to necessitate snowblowing, and absolute ridiculousness at work. But I'm pretty bad at rest so already I'm doing a bunch of laundry and getting back to work on the current cosplay project.

Hoping I can manage to make a little progress on one of many fics in progress and/or take a walk in the woods now that it's been long enough I probably don't need to worry about possibly having been exposed to covid last weekend. I can get chilled and not worry about my immune system disappearing entirely. ;)

He's doing a lot better than he was, after being hand-fed since Saturday night and getting some pretty hefty meds since Tuesday. Not back to normal, but he was doing happy little leaps around me as I was brushing my teeth last night, and flopped over with his feet in the air about a foot away from me, so apparently he feels happy and safe here even if he's not feeling entirely well yet. =)

Aw, precious. Thank you for taking the time to care for him so well. He is clearly in the right place where he can be cared for and fully thrive.

Thanks... I honestly spent Saturday night and most of Sunday going "omg what if I've basically killed him by adopting him? This is my fault" which is... sort of true but also I couldn't have known he's so stressed out by car rides before I took him for a two-hour drive back to my house and his GI tract stopped working. I've had other buns who roadtripped with me without an issue.

But since I couldn't go back in time and tell my friend that he needed to be adopted by someone who lived closer, all I could do was try to fix this. Fortunately it seems to be working, he's munching some hay right now. =)

Edit: This is a bun who is definitely not stressed. ;)
