Do what works for you OP! Playing games with other people has never quite panned out for me either.

Not entirely related but sort of? I watch streams of games/walkthroughs rather than play them because I get into fandoms for games I've never played and need to know the story so I can write fanfic LMAO. Sometimes they're games I've played a bit of but never kept up with (like FFXIV). There's so many great stories/characters in games but I don't wanna spend all the money on the game and the equipment and keep up subs just to do fannish stuff, which is my ultimate joy at this point. It's just so fun. Bonus point is that it's usually a lot less time consuming than playing the game myself and I can multitask while watching it.

I do this too. I'll play with randoms for a lot of games, but it's too much effort to cultivate a large enough friends group for those type of games.

+1 for Mr RumbleTumbleGames. He plays with the Yogscast semi-regularly; they're mostly good people too. CohhCarnage and Jesse Cox as well.

Yay, such a fun book. I've been debating buying the book for a while now.

There is a translated version posted around that's decent. I don't know how much it'll bother you to have a drop in quality.

I'm not sure about this one but the other novels that are getting official releases are translated versions by the same people who either originally uploaded them or at least do FTLs for other novels online. So there are chances that some of the available translations online are close.

I feel like this is yet again a way in which this era manages to please no one. I'm generally against Doctor-Companion relationships (or pining) and I didn't see the explicitly romantic build-up that shippers did. So people like me aren't pleased that this has become a plot point at all. And shippers like OP are almost definitely going to be left unsatisfied by how it plays out.

I think it's actually a symptom of the larger "too little too late" issue in characterizing Yaz. And exploring the Doctor's bottled-up emotions.

NLOG heroines who hate sewing because it's stupid and girly were never a trope in Asian media anyway, though. The closest to it would probably be "She's bad at sewing and other proper lady things because she's too clumsy (isn't that so adorable?) and it causes her slight angst."

I too started hating him before it was cool. That interview was a carcrash though. He did everything but claim he couldn't sweat and was in a Pizza shop in Woking when the accusations were made. That was the level of stupidity he was operating at with all his attempts at digging his way out while digging himself deeper.

I took today off so my sister, BIL, and I sent out to eat and drink. Going to take a late nap and then game. Tomorrow we are going to eat pizza and watch the Royal Rumble (the only WWE event I enjoy). Sunday I'll be driving home.
