I see it as one-sided on Yaz’s part and the Doctor’s reaction being her wondering what to do with this information (Dan says she knew, but IDK). The thing that bugs me the most is that we should’ve had Thirteen being more open about her feelings already. She’s held her companions at arm’s length since the beginning and I would’ve loved for her to have opened up to them over time, but we’ve got two episodes to go and Chibnall thinks now’s a great time for the Doctor to tell Yaz that she’ll tell her everything? Really? That should’ve happened ages ago! Don’t get me wrong, I love this incarnation of the Doctor and I’ve actually enjoyed most of the episodes, but there’s so much of this era that frustrates me and Thirteen’s continual emotional constipation is one of them.
