It's not even Tee-dus! That at least I could deal with. But Tee-dah? Noooope. Not going there and neither is anyone else I know, including the dude who has that as his "first name" on Facebook because he cosplays him so much.

Is it not Tie-dus (sounds like Titus but with a soft 't' that sounds like a 'd' for the second 't'?)

Katakana suggests Tee-dah.

If they'd spelled his name Tida I would be totally down with that. But I cannot reconcile "Tidus = Tee-dah" in my brain.

everybody in the world thinks it's tide-us (thematically the elemental match-up of tied-us with the watery associations of blitzball are EXACTLY the sort of thing ff loves), but woff canonised tee-dus
