I always got the impression that it was supposed to be pretty ridiculous as it was inspired by the Beatles films, but, you know, even more absurd.

Anyway, Mike was pretty cool. I actually liked all of them, though Peter was my least favorite at the time (I later came to realize how much of a short shrift he got a lot of the time).
