The colours clash? Can someone explain to me which colours? I am generally bad at seeing this kind of thing, but I extra don't understand this one.

There's a recent trend (especially on "fashion tiktok") saying that navy blue and black don't go together, which is untrue.

it does however look really busy because it uses 4 different shades of blue & has dots & stripes, it's a lot

And its boxiness makes the suit look like pajamas. In fact I thought it was pj's before I was told it was meant to be a suit. It is not a great design. However, that is no reason for conservatives to lose their shit over it like they have.

oh same, i thought it was supposed to be pajamas and i thought it was cute when i thought it was pajamas! but then i read that it was actually a suit and just no, it looks terrible for a suit.

right?? it's ugly to me, not because of the colors but because the polka dots do not flatter the shapes, the stripes, or the bows.

it's one thing to think "well how are we supposed to know she's a girl mouse without bows??" but at the same time, plz design something nicer than this or else I'm fine with the dress.

exactly. i'm not conservative but i think it's ugly af. you could make a really cute pantsuit for minnie but that is not it.

It's not recent at all, it's an old as fuck "rule". But it always was inaccurate. Just like the whole "green and blue doesnt look good together" rule, or how red and pink clashes.

I hate this so much. My friend at uni was somehow sold on this and was expanding The Rules to everything. Blue and green walls? Noooo, you can't. You have black hair? You can't wear blue. This was frustrating
