Eh, sometimes. But honestly, sometimes people just can't friggin' read properly, or there's some other hang-up involved. If I had a dollar for every time I read a comment thread where someone genuinely believed they were responding to a point made in the secret and began arguing in opposition to that point - BUT! - it turns out that they were having a weird knee-jerk reaction to some other point they'd read elsewhere on the internet (usually something contentious) by some other person and they responded to the OP as though they were that internet rando they vaguely recall seeing elsewhere... okay, I wouldn't be Bezos-rich, but I'd be able to pay off a lot of bills.

People are weird.
