How on earth does it not “make it easier” for children who may be in similar situations to speak out when there’s precedent of abusive people being blacklisted after victims came forward? Like, I’ll grant the rest of your comment makes perfect sense. But this part is so weird, and doesn’t ring true at all. It honestly seems like you’re trying to prove a negative, like “it probably doesn’t make it harder for children to speak out if an abusive writer is blacklisted, but there’s no proof per se that it makes it easier either”. And that feels a bit like hair splitting as well.
Correct me if I’m way off on what you’re trying to say of course.
