That's not what I'm trying to say. But blacklisting these days comes with a heavy side of "Artist was never any good anyway and clearly their work was always problematic" and "Good work can only be made by good people." And that does make it harder for people who come forward with allegations against popular creators. Hell, we see people on f!s twist themselves into knots to prove that various creators that mean something to couldn't have possibly done anything bad and if someone was hurt by their actions it's their own fault. And we're all anonymous and theoretically all adults here. There's no easy fix, but moving away from the "good people make good things, bad people make bad things, and once we find out someone is a bad person all of their previously good things are now bad" mentality helps a little.

Yes, this. Michael Jackson comes to mind. People are still tying themselves into the Gordian Knot to insist that he wasn't creeping on kids.
