one of the requirements was that you had to list your age and orientation

Wow. I feel like that kind of thing could be (and in all likelihood probably has been) used against people. Like, why do they even need to know that? Nobody ever made me share anything about myself aside from what I would really like to get in return when I signed up for any exchange.

The last exchange I signed up for just asked me to list what I liked and didn't like, so I was confused that this one basically wanted me to fill out an application (there were five other pages on the sign up section, but I didn't get past the first one with the basic info). I guess the rationale might have been to keep an adult from getting paired up with a minor for the exchange, but there's already a rule that everything needs to be PG-13 at most, so . . . yeah, I dunno. And I have no idea why they'd need to know my orientation.
