Is anyone like me who just thinks Sarah Z is… not that good? There’s rarely anything about her videos that can keep my attention. Lindsay Ellis acts superior but is legitimately compelling. Jenny Nicholson is an absurdist genius. Just because I like fandom stuff doesn’t mean I can just sit around and watch any rando talk about it.

Yeah her videos are kind of mediocre. I will still watch/listen to them if it's on a topic I have a passing familiarity with and I need to fill a silence for an hour or two, but pretty much every alternative to her is more compelling to listen to.

I agree. She just doesn't seem to have any sort of originality to her, just reading out loud some of the most popular sentiments from long Tumblr text posts.

I think Sarah Z is fine. Not great, not terrible, just fine. I think it's really kind of unfair to hold her up against Jenny Nicholson who is a creative genius. It's not a reasonable comparison.
