I know lots of fans are passionately into the expansive mythology and lore of The Silmarillion. But for me, it'll simply be the best bedtime story I've ever listened to. I've never made it past the fifth chapter of the audiobook. It's so calmly boring that I fall asleep before it gets to (what I assume are) the interesting parts.
