Oh S2 is worth watching then? His appearance in S1 didn't strike me as very intriguing yet

The series finale? Yes. But Season Two is kind of clumsy compared to the first because I feel like they just meander around until the last episodes. And by that point, some of the more obnoxious elements of the show was getting to me (those damn nerd birds are annoying, and I felt they overused Comfortable Doug who already is visually unappealing to me because I find his species's constant sweating to be gross as fuck).

Like yes, they are recruiting centaurs to their armies, but I feel like they could have just concluded with season one, plus the ending movie and alter a few scenes to compensate. But the ending is very, very worth it and Nowhere's King is the biggest reason why.

That design looks pretty cool. I think I'm going to give this show a shot.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I have a pretty high tolerance for fart jokes, but the ones on Centaurworld could be a little bit much at times, even for me. That said, I still love the show so much that I think it may be my newest hyperfixation, and the Nowhere King is a big part of the reason why. He was a tragic and compelling villain and I too wish I had more people to talk to about him. Well, him and Zulius, who reminds me so much of my horse, Sharif, that it almost makes me cry sometimes.

Same! His story really stuck with me and I still feel a pang when I think about it. But I'm also kind of with your friends about the rest of Centaurworld. It was mostly fine, but I definitely wasn't a fan of the fart jokes. I know mixing genres was part of the point, but I still would have liked it more if the whole series had had the tone of its serious bits with the human world.

Eyyy, I just finished Centaurworld recently and I agree. Though - and I know this is going to sound weird - I was kind of disappointed on how he was presented when he first arrived on screen. Like you had this amazingly creepy song about him prior and his whole visual look as this ghastly, corpsey, dripping skeleton. I was kind of expecting him to be WAY more creepy in personality and tone than well, dramatic and bombastic.

Still, I agree, he's damn fascinating and I really liked his backstory in the show.
