Well based on the Doctor Strange trailer, you ain't getting your wish.

At very least it has Xavier, since Pat Stewart was asked to deny he was in it and he refused to deny it. He sorta danced around it like the world's oldest Tom Holland, so it looks like Doctor Strange will also have a Prof. X.

Same. Obviously they will join, but I hope it'll be with some multiverse shenanigans. So they'll be canon, but we won't have to put up with them too much. They'll be their own separate thing.

I'm sure the MCU could make me like (new) versions of these characters, but unless they actually start killing people off on the regular, the MCU is pretty full right now. Play with the toys you already have, Marvel!

I want Rogue (and maybe Destiny too) to be the antagonists in a Captain Marvel movie but other than that I'm so tired of the same three characters and the same three stories.

If there must be mutants I'd prefer that they not get their own movie and they are just on the sideline but occasionally look really suspicious.

I totally agree. That said, I didn't want Spider-Man in the MCU either, and then I ended up loving him. From which I've learned that as much as I think the MCU makes some bad narrative choices, it is also very capable of hitting on the exact right dynamic to make a thing work.

Even if they do manage to make the X-Men work in the MCU, though, I agree with the other commenter who said the MUC's character roster is already pretty full, and they'd be smart if they focused on deepening the audience's investment in those character rn.
