I really am a curse on fanfics…

I’ve noticed over the years that whenever I get into a WIP that updates regularly, the updates either immediately stop or eventually trickle off. The most blatant case might be a fic that, for the first month or so that I was reading it, updated every two to three days. Then a few updates were a week or two apart…and now it hasn’t updated since December. :(

I'm like that to tv shows. If there is a tv show that looks fun and exciting, then as soon as I get into it it announces a retool or cancellation and it will never get a fandom. Conversely if I hate it, then people will overlook what a total piece of worthless shit it is and it'll get a dozen new seasons all preannounced.
