Mine was not good. My partner got out of control angry over a minor thing and lashed out (at an inanimateobject, not me). He apologised afterwards, but I feel like a level of trust between us has gone.

Putin's space minister has implied they are ready to drop the ISS out of orbit early, and start a kessler syndrome, to avoid Russia losing its war, and Putin is supposedly ready to authorize tactical nuclear strikes, and this is all fine and very normal. I'm fine, I'm not worried, everything is okay and not scary at all. Yes, I am completely okay. Okay? Okay!

Don't worry about this. It'll never happen. I realize that must sound trite, but remember that pretty much everything coming out of Russia is pure propaganda (so he probably is not actually ready to authorize nukes), but also the use of nukes at all is vanishingly improbable. "Mutually assured destruction" is the term we learned back in the first Cold War (bc this is 100% just Cold War 2.0): if Russia were to launch nukes, nukes would be launched against them, and all it results in is no winner. It's just not going to happen, despite threats.

Friday I had a conference in San Antonio, so yesterday I drove home. I've had a massive migraine, so not a fun drive. Still have the migraine, and I'm really exhausted. My kitty was sick last night. Trying to get laundry done, and other than that just listening to music on Youtube.

And we're currently going through the frozen meals to find the ones without soy or cheese since we just discovered that most of the ones I've been eating have hidden cheese and that soy is also a possible migraine trigger. So many things I can't eat now. So frustrating.

Considering the state of the world, not terrible.

Considering stress-buying some charity-fundraiser perfume oils (BPAL released TX trans kids and Ukraine support blends) because I have the disposable income and they sound like they smell good, but worried I'll need that disposable income for something else as soon as I hit the checkout button.

So very annoying.
Monstous Bebe and boyfriend ran out of propane Friday so their house was FREEZING, couldn't get a refill until Saturday and had a biggish bill i had to chip in on. THEN the same day their 'fridge died, and while they had some options (FB Marketplace and an offer of a free one from someone), they needed a truck to pick up anything and deliver it.

THEN Monstrous' brakes were grinding, and the caliper is chipped, so it must be replaced - more expense! It's just been stressy and difficult for them, and i'm stressed over upcoming insurance renewal, and we had ANOTHER staffer quit the damn shelter (or be fired, i think) for inappropriate nonsense with clients.....

ARGH. At lest this coming week there will be no fucking ice and mess, and I can do some early spring cleaning.

Ugh.

So, I mentioned in comments last night about how the Johto Tour in Pokemon Go kinda went south for various reasons. (Though still glad I did it!)

Also in the middle of that I came home and found that one of my bunnies had figured out how to escape his area. And he did so again multiple times last night.

So I had already figured I would wake up tired and in pain today from being out yesterday, and I did, but from less sleep than I would've expected. :/

And then my guts decided to all cramp up at once (having your esophagus cramp sucks by the way - behind your ribs, you can't massage it) and I had to just fight through it to clean up and reorganize my bunnies' spaces so I could switch a couple of them around and hopefully everyone will spend tonight where they are supposed to be and I won't have to get up every few minutes to put them back where they have food/water/litterboxes. :P I love my bunnies but omg they are precocious little beasts.

Eh I still have to do my bare minimum errands and chores (laundry, groceries, bag recycling, wash dishes, etc) but I'm not in a warzone and have a job and don't have COVID, so it could be worse.

Well I had to work Friday and Saturday so that sucked already, but I thought I was off work today and had plans. But then I got a call from the assistant manage at work right before I was about to start doing the plans, and apparently I WAS scheduled today but just didn't realize it because I looked at the wrong week's schedule when I was checking if I had to work today. So then I got to go and spend the day dealing with customers instead of the other things I was going to do, including catching up on work for my other, much preferred job. I desperately need to quit the retail business, but I can't until I have the renewed contract for the preferred job safely signed, which I hope and pray will be in just a few weeks because I can't keep doing this, I loathe retail so much and I have no time to do any damn thing.

Mine was amazing! I’m finishing my first week of my first term in college. I finished high school 30 years ago and was really worried about being overwhelmed but the course is structured perfectly for people like me. I had to record a presentation for my class which involved some simple graphic design and figuring out the software they wanted us to use. I ended up investing in a Blue Yeti microphone because I’ll have to do at least one presentation a week for the next several years and my budget laptop I bought just for school wasn’t really up to the sound task. I also bought a little makeup to just kinda even out my skin and soften shiny spots but I don’t actually really now how to apply makeup so I had to learn that, too.

This probably all sounds so silly and trivial but I am just so happy I accomplished what I set out to do and I’m excited about learning and earning my degree :D

Middling? My car's in the shop...indefinitely? They are being weirdly cagey about it. So my dad drove up on Saturday to take me around to all the shops so I could load up, especially on bulky or heavy things. Then today, I kept up with the invasion and it made me cry. But then I hung out with a friend I hadn't seen in a while and that was nice. Not looking forward to work tomorrow.

It was okay. It was my birthday, I didn't think I'd get anything but ended up getting money and a bottle of my favorite soda as birthday gifts. Parent surprised me by making my favorite dinner (tacos) and made a small cake. Despite all that, it was a quiet birthday.
