That was me. In my humble opinion, my comment aged like fine wine. I felt like a dick after I posted it, because I also struggle with anxiety. But I have little sympathy for people who keep on feeding themselves with fearmongering instead of attempting to listen to reason and step away from the news and social media. Still, I hope you change your ways earlier than I did. You'll save yourself a lot of mental and physical pain.

You know what? I still feel like a dick. I'm genuinely sorry for my unhelpful comments. I really wish I had some useful way to assure you that you don't need to be afraid. I did mean what I said about getting off social media, but I know from experience that that's not as easy as it sounds. Take care.

While I agree that dialing it down is a good idea(and AYRT seems to feel they should too considering their last comment being basically an apology), how do you know they’ve been a dick to a lot of people? Am I missing something? Because them being anon makes it seem like it would be hard to tell if it was always them or not making the comments you’re alluding.

Because their writing style is very distinctive, with the same dripping sneer and condescension in every post. They can fuck right off for all I care.

Even if I have a distinctive writing style, I don't comment here very often. When I comment it's usually on secrets, and I don't get involved in discussions. I think you're confusing some other condescending dick(s) for me.

Here's a secret! When I'm anon, I model my writing style off of other anons on FS. It's all part of my cunning plan not to get recognized when I post under my account. My lack of originality is a feature, not a bug.
