I have a secret I want to make and submit myself, no offense secret secret-maker I just wanna do this one myself, but I don't know how. Can someone please give me an idiots-guide to making one and submitting it? Please?

Hi there! I'm no expert, but I can tell you the rough process of how I make mine. I learned from tips off this community myself, so I'm happy to pass it on.

1) Find an image. Google Image search is probably the most general way to do it, then filter the results by clicking on "Tools" and clicking on "Size" and choosing "Large". You can always change the size when you're editing, but at least this way you've got a shot at a decent sized image to work with. If you want more arty stock photography, unsplash.com is also good.

2) Edit and add text. I use these two sites:

http://www.picfont.com

Both are free. The first one is, IMO, a little easier to use. Just upload your chosen image and the menu on the left will allow you to add text, re-size, crop and do other stuff. If you want to have the image plus an empty space for text (some images aren't great for adding text to like this) choose the Collage mode. You only get one format in Collage mode, but you can delete any unneeded cells, choose a background color, then add text as needed.

3) Save and upload to imgur: http://www.imgur.com - You don't need to sign up or register with that site, just upload and right-click the image to make sure you've got the right link (ending in .png or .jpg) that you can submit to FS.

I have zero photoshop skills, other users will have to help you with that. Good luck, nonny!

looks like you already got a very helpful reply, but you can also use canva.com or photopea.com to edit in your browser before hosting on imgur!
