...Dang, now I kind of want my fandom to get a remake/remaster even more because maybe it would lead me to some music that I haven't heard that works for my ship instead of stuff that was mostly old even 20 years ago, hahah. (I keep seeing a line or two quoted that makes me go "ping!" and then I look up the entire song and it doesn't work at all...)

But despite the feeling old, I'm glad you apparently got some enjoyment out of your ship having new content. Living the dream. :D

The feeling old was the main thrust of the thing, yeah, but all the rest is great! It took some time to adjust to my boy no longer being a redhead, but good fanart helps with that.

Oh yeah, that would be incredibly weird at first to have a new "look" to adjust to. Hopefully the characters at least were written like their familiar selves. =)

But yeah, also relate to feeling old, if for different reasons. A lot of the characters in my favorite ships across multiple fandoms were older than I was when I got into them, now I go back to them and realize I'm over a decade older than they were. When did that happen?
