NGL, something I find incredibly funny is remembering reading on Livejournal from a community laughing at people who moved to Dreamwidth as soon as the russians bought the site, calling them reactionary and panicky.

Now with the russian government being far too eager to return to the times of the soviet union, I'm currently wondering if they'll even bite the bullet and accept dreamwidth... or go to Twatter, like everyone does.

They'll go to twitter. Image hosting would be a central reason as would the fact that a lot of fandoms are on Twitter. Or they'll go to pillowfort since it offers image hosting and it's a lj/tumblr hybrid.

Does Pillowfort actually work well for fandom? I've meaning to join since the-great-tumblr-ban-on-porn and of course still haven't done it.
