This podcast talks about plenty of different shows, but all of them are done in a gonzo style. Good times.

A podcast about Moby Dick. Fantastic work, and excellent podcasters who are knowledgeable about the subject matter.

Lingthusiasm — a fun podcast about language and linguistics, presented in an easy to understand way, even for those with no academic knowledge of the topic. Not every episode is fascinating, but many are and you can pick and choose by topic.

No Such Thing As a Fish — hosted by four researchers for a British quiz show, who each share the most interesting facts they’ve discovered in the last week. Lots of interesting anecdotes about history, science, and anything/everything else. Some recent facts have covered Beanie Babies, nudism, professional ham sniffers, and dangerous microbes in the Roman Baths in Bath, England.
