Re: What things do you prefer the name brands to generic?

Name brands: French's Yellow Mustard, Kraft Mac 'n' Cheese, Pop-Tarts, Doritos (if I want Nacho Cheese or Cool Ranch Tortilla chips, they have to be Doritos, generic don't taste as good)

Generic: Kroger's Honey Roasted Peanut Butter (it is better than Jif, Peter Pan, Reese's, Skippy, or any other name brand I've ever tried, plus it's way cheaper)
Allergy medicine or pain relievers
A fair amount of bakery items, like cupcakes, pastries, cookies, etc.
Baking staples like flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking soda and powder
