I'm always going to be bitter that The Rise of Skywalker ended with a military victory that destroyed the First Order and Rey killing Palpatine by beating him in a duel. It just would have been so much better to have the First Order ended because the people rose up or anything except just being destroyed in a single battle. But even more so I hate that Rey physically overpowered Palpatine. The ending of Return of the Jedi, where Luke throws down his weapon and refuses to fight, and then Vader kills Palpatine to save his son, is so powerful. Having the light side have to physically overpower the dark misses the point.
