Also a darned good list, and I think I found my ultimate answer in there.

I had one of those moments a few weeks back when a commercial made me go "oh man, I remember that song, it was great" and went to look it up on YouTube and it suggested a bunch of other early 90s hits, including Groove is in the Heart. I listened to a lot of them several times, but kept going back to Deee-lite. That song is just fantastic, and the video is so fun and perfect for it. =)

the 90's in general seems to have been a really good decade for one hit wonders. I'm sure there are some I left out.

Yeah, I can think of some really excellent ones that came up in that bunch I was browsing around. And that was just like, 1990-1992! Probably I'd have a pretty long list if I started looking at charts because my memory is pretty shot - but once I see/hear a song I listened to multiple times, it's going to be right back in my head.
