NA - That J2 RPF Haiti earthquake story was an utter mess, and it was definitely racist. The author was disgracefully clueless and ignorant. But to be honest, I felt horrible for them.

It's not that each individual comment was unreasonable, and I don't question the right or fairness of POC fans specifically in responding with overt outrage. But the total response when amassed in its entirety was a proportional response magnified by a thousand. I can't even imagine it. I hope the author is less ignorant and cluelessly prejudiced now. But I also hope they got through it without having some kind of total emotional breakdown.

I'd make this a secret, but I don't know how many people even remember the J2 RPF Haiti earthquake story.

I remember it. I felt bad fir the author too. It was obviously done out of cluelessnees and unthinking bias. I hope the vitriol if the response didn't deter them from changing for the better.
