I agree with the other anon upthread about not including anime, because that would dominate this.

But I have a real appreciation for classic TV show theme songs, so there’s too many to list. Same with cartoon themes, there’s so many that I love that I wouldn’t know where to start.

So I’ll list one that I haven’t seen here yet: The theme song to Perfect Strangers. It’s the best kind of 80s sitcom cheese, and I love it to death! The only theme song I love almost as much for it’s cheesiness is the theme to Greatness American Hero, but that’s already been mentioned.

I can’t think of any that I outright hate. There may be some I’m not remembering, but in general, my reaction to theme songs I don’t love or don’t find catchy is apathy. I’ll just ignore it or skip it, and consider it forgettable. Considering there’s plenty of actual music I do straight up hate, I honestly don’t know why I don’t hate more theme songs, because there’s so many of them.
