Eh, a bunch of people thought there were COVID-1 to COVID-18. I mean, some people were being funny or facetious, yes, but some people truly thought and just didn't connect it with the year the first cases were identified. Of course, they may have been confused by the fact that it is also called SARS-CoV-2 because it is a second strain of a severe acute respiratory syndrome–related coronavirus.

So the image didn't load quickly for me, and there was a few moments where I didn't see the age clarification of what a "kid" meant.

And considering anyone now who has a birth year starting in "19XX" is automatically old enough to drink (yes this is US-centric, don't come for me) I spent those few moments as a fandom old with the concept of a fan growing up with A03.

OMG, I'm so dim. I had always assumed that AO1 and 2 were the unpublished betas of the coding that only the first wave of testers experienced and 3 was the stable release that went public.

I think when I first became aware of it, I was seeing people type out the whole name (maybe because it was still kind of new) and only later noticed the acronym (and thought it was cute!) If I'd known it by the acronym first, I might not have realized what it meant.

Police Squad is awesome. Every episode is nearly perfect. I'm sad that it was cancelled, although it probably wouldn't have stayed so perfect. I do like the Naked Gun movies (and the Airplane movies), but they aren't quite as good as the show.

Enjoy being interested in history. Personally I got into history because of my favorite artist Gottfried Helnwein.
